TOKYO AP Two drivers were killed and 30 injured Tuesday morning in a 16-vehicle pileup in foggy condition on a highway in northern Japan police said. Two were in a critical condition and being treated at a local hospital said Fukushima Prefectural Police spokesman Akira Takamiya. The other injuries were not life-threatening he said. Takamiya said the accident which involved 13 large trucks a bus and three cars occurred in Kita Aizu on a local expressway 219 kilometers 130 miles northeast of Tokyo. ``The up lane was suddenly covered by a dense fog reducing visibility to just 30 meters 98 feet'' Takamiya said quoting a bus driver involved in the pileup.
